 The Peoria Park District and the German American Central Society are pleased to welcome back the annual German Festival, Oktoberfest for its 18th anniversary! This 3-day event showcases German heritage through song, dance, food, drink, cultural exhibits and much more. This year promises to be better than ever, so be sure to check out the official schedule below. Don’t miss the talented German bands and musicians on multiple stages, vendors, and much more! Continuing our support of brain tumor research, the Mark Linder Walk for the Mind is a one mile walk to support brain tumor research and to raise awareness of brain tumors and their impact on those in Central Illinois. Net proceeds will be directed to the brain tumor research program at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria.

With tens of thousands in attendance, the fair presents Peoria with a rare opportunity to meet and interact with nationally recognized artists from around the globe.
HIGHLIGHTS:
150 artists representing 30 states and 4 countries – Canada, Argentina, Israel & U.S. Features original works of art in jewelry, painting, oil, watercolor, pastels, printmaking and drawing, photography and digital art, ceramics, wood, glass, mixed media, metal, wearable fiber, leather and sculpture.
